Balancing Chaos | A Quiet Knowing is a self-portrait of the artist’s almond-shaped eye, symbolizing heightened intuition and inner sight. The work explores intuition as both a gift and a burden—an awareness that reveals what lies beneath emotional masks, including unspoken truths, concealed emotions, and quiet animosity.

As a shamanic artist, she receives messages through automatic drawing, people, and environments. These insights arrive intuitively and often carry an emotional intensity that can feel overwhelming or uncomfortable. This heightened perception contributes to what the artist describes as the seer’s loneliness—a sense of isolation that emerges from seeing too clearly in a world shaped by avoidance and concealment.

The artist often seeks solitude as a form of self-protection and balance, as she has yet to encounter someone fully transparent about their inner world. Many, she perceives, withhold their truth out of fear of judgment or vulnerability, or concern that openness may be exploited.
